Inline labeling machines apply labels in two main ways: vacuum application and rolling application. Depending on the customer’s labeling direction, they can label the side, top, or bottom surface. For wider lines, a gantry frame can be used for added rigidity. Configurations are very flexible — put simply, they are built to the customer’s actual needs, and at prices starting from just a few thousand yuan they genuinely solve the problem of labeling products moving quickly along a production line. Below is an introduction to Wanzhi’s standard inline top-surface labeling machine:

1. General view: the mechanical structure of the labeling machine and the function of each part are shown in the figure below.

1) Unwind reel: holds the roll of labels.

2) Front/back adjustment mechanism: moves the labeling head forward or backward to match the product’s labeling position.

3) Up/down adjustment mechanism: raises or lowers the labeling head to match the line height.

4) Human-machine interface: the operator dialog window for adjusting all parameters.

5) Wrap-around mechanism: rolls the applied label firmly onto the product.

6) Control cabinet: the electrical control center of the labeling machine, housing the controllers and PLC.

7) Support stand: supports the labeling head.

2. Adjustment mechanisms: for every adjustment, first loosen the corresponding locking screw, and after adjusting, tighten the screw to hold the setting.

1) Up/down adjustment rod: turn the handwheel at the top to raise or lower the labeling head;

2) Left/right adjustment: turn the front handwheel to move the labeling head forward or backward;
