Inline print-and-apply labeling machine for fresh food trays

Product model:WZ-610

The WZ-610 inline print-and-apply labeling machine is an integrated print-and-apply inline system developed by Wanzhi Automation, mainly for simultaneous top-and-bottom labeling of food packaging boxes in cold-chain supply; it targets the cold-chain food industry and is suitable for coding and labeling in the production of boxed cold-chain products such as fresh salmon, sashimi, prepared dishes, pre-washed vegetables, chilled meat products, and boxed seafood.

Product details

The WZ-610 inline print-and-apply labeling machine is a dedicated inline printing and labeling machine independently developed by Wanzhi Automation, built for cold chain food packaging boxes and supporting simultaneous labeling of both the top and bottom of the box. The machine uses a label pre-printing buffer and temporary storage scheme that effectively solves the mismatch between printing speed and line conveying speed. Integrating an industrial printing unit and an automatic labeling actuator, it applies labels automatically once the material sensor detects that the box is in position, achieving top and bottom labeling with real-time production data linkage and automatic alarms for missing or absent labels, ensuring continuous and stable line operation. It targets the cold chain food industry: fresh salmon, sashimi, prepared dishes, ready-to-cook vegetables, chilled meat products, seafood boxed products and other cold chain boxed packaging scenarios. It can also be used for snack foods, frozen foods and other production steps that require double-sided box coding and labeling, applying production date, traceability code, batch number and product information labels to both sides.

Key features

  • 1. Simultaneous two-side labeling: labels can be applied to the top and bottom of a box at the same time, completing both sides in one pass and improving packaging efficiency.
  • 2. Label buffer and hold design: labels are printed ahead of time and buffered temporarily, resolving the mismatch between print speed and line conveying speed for high-speed lines.
  • 3. Integrated print-and-apply: a built-in industrial printer plus an automatic labeling mechanism removes the need for separate offline printing equipment, so the unit connects directly to the line.
  • 4. System integration for batch printing: it connects to the production management system, calls up pre-edited and saved label templates, and prints labels automatically in batches for easy order changes.
  • 5. Sensor-triggered operation: a material sensor detects the box in position and starts the labeling cycle automatically for closed-loop automation.
  • 6. Real-time data linkage and no-label alarm: production data is synchronized in real time, and faults such as out-of-paper or missing labels trigger an automatic alarm that alerts the operator promptly and reduces the release of defective products.
  • 7. Suited to cold-chain food conditions: optimized for cold-chain food packaging, with components that meet food-grade industry requirements and suit low-temperature workshops.
