An apparel hang tag is the link between a fashion item and its consumer. It plays a positive role in building a clothing company’s brand and in selling the product; calling a hang tag the nameplate of a fashion item is entirely apt. Hang tag design is a highlight that draws the eye directly, and with good packaging and a finely made product it will do twice the work for half the effort in brand marketing.

The Wanzhi R&D team independently developed automated labeling solutions for the apparel hang tag industry — for example, hang tag print-and-apply labeling, the RFID-embedded five-head card labeling machine, the hang tag CCD vision inspection machine and the high-speed hang tag sheet feeder. These can apply up to 3,000 electronic labels per minute and detect and reject defective items; they combine automatic feeding, inspection, counting, collecting, bagging and bundling so that production becomes smarter and more automated.

Solution

1. WZ-12505 automatic five-head card labeling machine

The automatic five-head RFID label card labeling machine is designed for the printing and garment accessories industries and specifically for RFID-embedded hang tags. A single head can apply dozens of labels in succession to the same product (paper card), and 5 heads work at the same time to apply up to 3,000 electronic labels per minute. The machine has an automatic lifting-platform feeder and an automatic receiving mechanism, and uses high-accuracy two-way supported labeling heads for high speed and accurate positioning, replacing manual labeling. The number of heads can be increased or reduced to suit customer requirements, and one machine can replace dozens of workers — the latest generation tool for hang tag labeling.

The inline hang tag print-and-apply labeling machine is designed for real-time print-and-apply labeling on flat products such as cards, hang tags, unformed cartons and packaging bags. Its dual-head design applies 2 or more labels at different positions on the same product at the same time. The printing system is connected to a database and prints while applying — barcodes, prices and other content — and is widely used for flat print-and-apply labeling of printed products;

The high-speed card dispenser is widely used in the printing and garment accessories industries, for example on apparel hang tag sorting lines. Combined with an automatic card counting machine, it can also detect and reject defective items, at speeds up to 350-500 pieces/minute. It uses vacuum conveying and a multi-station material feed, and combines automatic feeding, inspection, counting, collecting, bagging and bundling so that production becomes smarter and more automated;

The hang tag CCD vision inspection machine uses multi-camera 3D measurement plus an auxiliary backup view and special measuring lenses, combining full-dimension measurement, 3D scanning and appearance inspection in one system to meet a wide range of measuring needs: checking labeling accuracy, missed labels, confirming appearance content and more. The CCD inspection takes place inside a sealed black enclosure with stable lighting, so results are consistent.
