Pharmaceutical companies now routinely upgrade their production lines. Many pharmaceutical equipment makers are already accelerating innovation and upgrading equipment stability, control technology and machining accuracy to meet drug makers’ demand for automated, intelligent production. The industry expects that, as volume-based drug procurement and medical insurance reform continue, these new lines will play a huge role in raising capacity and accelerating innovation for drug makers. One industry insider put it this way: “From preparation onwards — filling, blister sealing, labeling, cartoning, palletizing, warehousing — the whole process is automated and intelligent, which greatly raises production efficiency and lowers labor costs.”
Pharmaceutical equipment is a critical part of drug production. With downstream demand changing and requirements rising, equipment makers must keep pace, fix their weak points, follow industry trends, research and develop deeply and keep improving their equipment. For this reason Wanzhi Automation developed a series of labeling machines for the pharmaceutical industry to help drug makers develop further downstream.
1. Medicine box sheet-feeder labeling machine
The medicine box sheet-feeder labeling machine applies labels or adhesive film to the upper surface of medicine boxes and paper bags. Its dual labeling head design applies labels at different positions on the product at the same time. An optional coder or inkjet printer can print production dates, batch numbers, barcodes and other information on the labels.
2. Medicine box corner labeling machine
The medicine box corner labeling machine is dedicated to two-corner sealing labels on medicine boxes: labels are applied across the corner where the top face and side face meet at each end of the box, and a tamper-evident label prevents the box from being opened. It can be connected directly to an upstream production line, feeding automatically into the labeling machine for higher efficiency. An optional ribbon coder labeling unit can print production dates and batch numbers inline, reducing bottle packaging steps and improving production efficiency.
3. Real-time print-and-apply labeling machine for infusion bottles
