China is the largest producer of LED lighting products, and its industry has grown rapidly in recent years; together with demand to replace incandescent lamps, this has kept raising the penetration of LED lighting products in China and provided strong momentum for the industry’s growth. LED epitaxial wafers, chips, packaging, driver circuits and downstream industries can therefore seize this opportunity to strengthen their competitiveness and grow their businesses.
In terms of demand, demand for LED lighting products in China has trended upward in recent years, and demand for LED reflector paper has been rising as well. The purpose of reflector paper is to concentrate the light inside a light box so that the box does not look like it has scattered, uneven light. The back of the reflector paper has to be adhesive: once the back of the light box is made, the paper is stuck directly to the back panel. Because there are strict requirements on the adhesive area and the pressing angle of the reflector paper, the tape applicator and the pressing and edge-folding machine matched to the line have relatively high technical requirements.
In response to the technical requirements of LED reflector paper customers, the Wanzhi R&D team built a dedicated LED reflector tape application and pressing/edge-folding machine, solving the technical problems customers faced in taping.
