Mainstream double-sided tape applicators on the market have a simple structure and rely on basic mechanisms — inserts, pushers and web-correction units — to apply tape. Depending on the product, optional automatic feeding and receiving mechanisms can replace manual handling for higher efficiency.

2. WZ-863 Folder-box side-panel double-sided tape applicator
Ø ◆Basic applications
Suitable for applying double-sided tape to the side panels of various color boxes and folder boxes. A No. 1 high-accuracy applicator head with a rotating pick-up mechanism applies triangular double-sided tape labels on the diagonal, while a No. 2 tape applicator head cuts and applies straight double-sided tape, so several taping steps are completed on a product in a single pass. An automatic feeding mechanism can be added to raise throughput further.
