The WZ-880 cardboard tape applicator is a general-purpose inline tape applicator developed by Dongguan Wanzhi Automation for the burst-line reinforcement process on corrugated cartons and paper boards. It automatically applies clear tape and fiber tape at the burst-line score positions to prevent packing straps from cutting the board and improve the carton’s load-bearing strength. It supports a choice of single-head or multi-head tape applicator heads and an optional automatic material separation mechanism, and offers customized frame widths that can be tailored to the customer’s workshop line layout. It suits volume reinforcement taping of color-printed cartons and express corrugated boards.
