Customer site case study: LED reflector labeling and edge-folding machine
Labeling and edge folding of LED reflectors is precision work and a complex process, because every production step requires high accuracy. Last year a customer in the industry came to us wanting to increase capacity through an integrated production process in order to achieve the expected growth. Together we studied improvements to the production line so that one line could carry out different processes: the first process is labeling with an automatic labeling machine, and the second is automatic edge folding.

After two months of development and refinement by the Wanzhi team, the equipment was delivered on schedule and highly recognized by the customer. Below we take a look at the customer site:
The LED reflector labeling and press-folding machine is used in a clean room. The equipment uses FFU filtration: outside air first passes through the MAU (primary filtration of outside air) into the ceiling of the clean room, then the FFU (secondary filtration) delivers the air into the clean room. The air flows down through the raised floor, enters the return air box, and is returned to the ceiling of the clean room. Air speed is easy to adjust and the clean zone is easy to modify;
The site layout is simple and product changeover is easy. The complete line includes an automatic feeder, a labeling machine, a transfer module, a press-folding machine, and a take-up unit.
Production flow: the magazine picks up products automatically → the conveyor carries the product to the labeling mechanism → five high-accuracy labeling heads apply labels → the transfer module moves the product to the pressing mechanism → the pressing cylinder moves down → pressing is complete → the module collects the product automatically;
Labels do not shift during peeling, and imported sensors detect the product and label for smooth operation. Fault alarms prevent missing or duplicate labels, and the press angle is entered systematically to ensure an accurate fold angle. Production efficiency reaches 700–800 pieces per hour.
