Integrated cartoning, weighing, and print-and-apply labeling machine
This machine is purpose-designed for automatic cartoning, weighing, and real-time print-and-apply labeling of the customer’s products.
1. Technical specifications:
• Labeling accuracy: ±1 mm (excluding product and label tolerances); leveling has a clear effect on labeling accuracy.
• Labeling speed: 2.5 pieces/min (related to product and label sizes).
• Applicable products: the products supplied by the customer.
• Applicable labels: length 6 mm–50 mm
• Width (liner width/mm): 6 mm–100 mm
• Machine dimensions: approx. 1200×800×1900 mm (L×W×H)
• Power supply: 220V 50/60 Hz.
• Machine weight: approx. 180 kg.
2. Process overview:
Product conveying → automatic counting and cartoning by robot → outer carton inspection → print-and-apply labeling → QR code scanning → weighing → print-and-apply labeling → missing-label detection → pushing the product to the carton sealer.
1. Products are conveyed at the infeed, counted and cartoned by the robot, and the cartons move onto the labeling conveyor.
2. The product is conveyed to print-and-apply station 1#.
3. The PLC controls the labeling robot to apply the printed label to the product surface and push the product onto the weighing platform.
4. The QR code scanner scans the QR code on the product and compares it with the system information. If the information matches, the product is released; if no barcode information is read or the information does not match the system, an alarm stops the machine and prompts manual intervention.
5. The software sends the weighing data to the printer, which prints the corresponding label, and the product is pushed by a pneumatic cylinder to labeling station 2#.
6. The labeling robot at station 2# applies the printed label to the product surface.
7. The missing-label detection unit checks whether the label has been applied. If so, the product is released; if no label is detected, an alarm stops the machine and prompts manual intervention.
8. Correctly labeled products are pushed by the 2# robot to the carton sealing equipment, completing the labeling process.
